Requirement for the East Buchanan C-1 Academic Letter

1. ENROLLMENT:

   1. A student must be enrolled at East Buchanan C-1 High School at the end of the first quarter of the current school year.

   2. A student must be classified as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior.

2. COURSES:

   1. A student must be enrolled in one (1) class from each of these four (4) areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science. 

   2. He/she must be enrolled in a total of 8 units of credit (7 credits if fully scheduled with cadet or office aid).

3. GRADE POINT AVERAGES:

   1. A student must have maintained a 3.667 GPA during the first three (3) quarters of the current school year.  (The GPA includes weighted classes.)

4. LETTER:

   1. An academic letter will be awarded to those students eligible for an initial academic letter.

   2. A bar will be awarded after receiving an initial academic letter.
